Christians Should Care For Each Other, Regardless of their role In Church

so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. (I Corinthians 12:25-26 NIV)

In this passage the Apostle Paul reminds us not to elevate any single Christian in our church above another. We should have equal concern for all our brothers, whether they are the pastor who preaches during the service, or the very weak and elderly that just come to listen. Only once we do this can we be sure that we will have no division in the church. If one of our brothers suffer, we must all suffer with them, regardless of whether they are the pastor or janitor. Likewise, when anyone in the church receives some special honor, we must all rejoice with them.
