God’s kingdom is for those who have believed in Jesus’ Christ and repented of their sins: in short, only those who are converted will go to heaven. It is not for those who still enjoy committing sin and hurting others.
Of course we all pretend to care about others, but most people care more about themselves, including many who call themselves Christians. They cheat others, and argue with others, and try to make it look like they are doing good, when in fact they are doing evil. The Bible warns us that these argumentative, divisive, selfish people may fool others, they may even fool themelves into thinking that they good people, but they cannot fool God:
The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated? 8 Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers and sisters. 9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? (I Corinthians 6:7-9a)
My message to my argumentative/abusive friends is this: stop living selfishly for yourselves. Stop trying to re-write history with all your debate. Rather, repent and be converted.
