Christian Ministers Should Work Together For A Common Purpose, Not Pursue Their Own Interests

True Christian ministers are on the same team. They should not be jealous of each other or compete with each other. Some are called to “plant” (start churches), others are called to water (disciplechurches). Each must humbling accept the task that God has called him to.

So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. (I Corinthians 3:7-9 NIV).
