Christians do not practice physical circumcision for religious purposes (Acts 15:1-29). However, we do consider ourselves to be circumcised spiritually by Jesus Christ. By this we mean that our “fleshly” or “sin nature” is “cut off” by Jesus so that God accepts us as sinless. In heaven we will have perfect natures unable to sin.
In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh was put off when you were circumcised by Christ, (Colossians 2:11).
