Please Pray This Prayer For Me, Always

True Believers ought to always be praying for each other, even when things seem to be going well. Our prayers need to be that we keep our focus on following the Lord, since that is the only thing that counts:

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, (Colossians 1:9-10 NIV)

The Apostle Paul gives us an example of what to pray for about other Christians:

We should ask God to fill them with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives. That is to say we need to pray that God will reveal to each other what He wants us to do. This knowledge does not come from human intelligence, but only as a divine gift through the Holy Spirit. So we must ask for it in humility.

We should ask that they may live a life worthy of the Lord, and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God. That is to say we need to pray that we all will do God’s will after learning what it is. We must pray that we will continue to do genuine good works, all the while increasing in their knowledge of who God is and what He wants us to do next.
