It is impossible for some churches to have faith and love

Your supposed Christianity is meaningless if you do not have faith and love. Faith is the sure belief in the One True God that alone is capable of giving your life meaning. Without it you are lost, and have no legitimate purpose. Love about our relationship with others. Christians are commanded to love all others, including their enemies. If you love someone you honesty wish the best for them.

Many churches claim to excel at both faith and love. But many of them are lying. Some churches are incapable of fostering true faith and love because they do not clearly preach the gospel. It is impossible to grow your faith and love if you do not really believe in the sacrificial love of Christ that compelled Him to go to the cross for you. If you read the passage below you will see that faith and love can only come from a clear, “true” presentation of the gospel message:

We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4 because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people— 5 the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel that has come to you. (Colossians 1:3-6a, NIV, emphasis mine)

We cannot have true love and/or faith if we willfully ignore the cross. Our preaching should drip with the blood of Christ, that should cause us to be ashamed of our horrible sins, yet rejoice in the love and mercy of God. Many churches do not detail the gospel message any more, and yet claim to preach faith and love. Many of these churches are frauds. The faith and love they claim to show is counterfeit. It is a fake belief and a fake love motivated by a desire to make themselves look good. A counterfeit gospel will only produce counterfeit fruit.
