The prostitute of Babylon will be overthrown by the ten horns.

Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages. 16 The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17 For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to hand over to the beast their royal authority, until God’s words are fulfilled. 18 The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.” (Revelation 17:15-17 NIV)

Now, as if this prophecy isn’t confusing enough, we see that the rulers with the antichrist will turn on the city of Babylon, the center of their man-made religion. They will apparently hate and rebel against the false religion that helped bring them to power. in fact, not only the ten horns, but the “beast” himself will “hate the prostitute.” This probably will result in the end times invasion of Babylon pictured in Jeremiah 50. This will be an attack from the North (Jeremiah 50), and possibly the East as well (Revelation 16:12) when the Euphrates River dries up (Revelation 16:12, Jeremiah 50:38, Isaiah 11:16, 27:12)

So we see here that the forces of evil cannot agree amongst themselves. They will no doubt be locked in some bitter struggle for power, each one wanting to be greater than the rest. The only thing that the forces of evil are ever in complete agreement on is the battle against righteousness.
