Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people. 7 He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.” (Revelation 14:6-7 NIV)
God has declared that the “eternal gospel” must be proclaimed to everyone on Earth, because God loves all and wants all to be saved (II Peter 3:9). The gospel message is the only message that causes humans to “fear God and give Him glory.” It is essentially that people believe in the gospel now and worship God immediately, because the day is fast approaching when they will say “the hour of His judgment has come.” It is appropriate for all to “worship him” because he “made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.” That is to say, we should worship God because he created many good things for us out of love. Of course, the same God who is capable of creating all of these things for us is also capable of punishing us.
But God is patient, giving us blessings, waiting for us to repent. God gives an opportunity of grace first, judgment later. Don’t waste your chance.
