Why Cynics Make Fun Of Christianity

“Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.” (II Peter 3:3)

Those who are cynical about the claims of Christianity would like you to believe that it is because Christianity doesn’t make any sense. However, cynics, like all humans, make decisions with their hearts more so than their brains. They may delude themselves into thinking that their cynicism is the result of higher intelligence, but it is more likely the result of a desire to do what they want without accountability to God. Their scoffing is the excuse they use to chase after their “evil desires.”

Therefore, let us all be careful not to let our sinful desires control our actions. We should be careful not to ever mock anything that is good and wholesome.

This post seems a little bit clumbsy. I might re-write it before I post it on my other blog.

On an unrelated note, I applaud you for your debt-free living.
