The end of all things is near

“The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.” (I Peter 4:7)

God will come back and judge the world. There are many passages in the Bible that explain how God is angry with human beings for mistreating each other and disrespecting Him. These prophecies refer to a series of events collectively referred to as “the day of the Lord.” These prophecies will be literally fulfilled. God will punish all those who persist in their unbelief.

True Christians need to study these prophecies and see what they say. We need to be “alert and of sober mind” not being swayed by the sensationalism of televangelists, but carefully studying our Bibles to understand what is coming.

And of course we need to pray! We need to ask God to help our unsaved friends and family repent and believe so that they will escape His righteous wrath at the end of the age.
