For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. 18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. (I Peter 3:17-18 NIV).
If you call yourself a Christian you should not be outraged when you suffer injustice. The only reason you were reconciled to God was because Jesus patiently suffered injustice for your sake. Therefore you should patiently endure persecution and hardship so that others might repent and convert as a result of your example.
Jesus was righteous, yet he suffered for the unrighteous because he loved us.
You should love your enemies enough to suffer for their salvation.
